#END ALS

ALS – Amylotrophic Lateral sclerosis

ALS is a neurodegenerative disease.  That means that people with ALS slowly loose control of their muscle function as their neurons (message transmitters between the brain and muscles) break down.  ALS is a fatal disease with no cure and no current effective treatments.

After my mom was diagnosed with ALS I searched for way to give back to the community and increase awareness.  This disease is curable, it’s just underfunded and under researched.  There are some amazing organization out there that are supporting this cause.  Please considering learning more about ALS and donating what you can to research for a cure.
