Sunflower Blanket Project

Calling all Crocheters!

The Sunflower has been adopted as a symbol of ALS Awareness and hope for a cure in our lifetime. So it seems fitting that it is the inspiration for out Sunflower Blanket Project. I love that it’s full of color and happiness. As I was looking for inspiration I kept finding these gorgeous granny square blankets. To be honest they had never been my style, a bit to much of a 70’s vibe for me and I’m a child of the 90’s grunge era. Then I started to find crocheted flower squares. And an idea was formed.

Jasmine Hand Warmer

It’s like a sleeping bag for your hands!

Haha! I was trying to think of a tag line for this project and apparently that’s what I came up with! But for real though, the Jasmine Hand Warmer is squishy and lux. I designed it to be an alternative to gloves and mittens. It’s perfect if you or a loved one have a hard time with dexterity. Or maybe you want something a little different to jazz up your wardrobe. Beware, though you may end up seeking out rides in horse drawn carriages so you can snuggle down under a blanket and show this baby off.
