The Marilue Cowl

The Marilue Cowl is chic and easy to wear.  It’s the perfect alternative to a traditional scarf.  The cowl sits flat under a coat.  No bulk and no ends to wrap or tie.  The scallop design is a decorative touch and functions as a way to pull the cowl on and off easily.  Simply tuck a finger or tool into a scallop and pull!  For that reason, the Marilue Cowl is perfect for people that struggle with tying traditional scarves.  But due to our unique design, it always looks modern and stylish.

The pattern uses bulky yarn and large knitting needles and crochet hook.  Make one up in an evening or afternoon!  Or make one in every color to match every outfit!

Skills needed:

This pattern requires knowledge of both knitting and crochet techniques.  You’ll need to be able to knit in the round, chain stitch, single crochet, and double crochet.

Styling:

Wear the Marilue Cowl two different ways!

  1. Stand the cowl upright and tuck the bottom under a jacket or coat to keep your neck warm.
  2. On warmer days, fold in half and wear the cowl low on your neck.
